Sebastian Lopez has retold the story of how he tried getting his first kiss with the short “Kiss on the Block”. His 10 years younger little brother, Leo, plays the lead role, while their dad plays his true excentric, Cuban self.

Lopez comments: “I feel so lucky to tell stories about my upbringing between two cultures in this way. I’m so happy we made it work.”

In the film, which draws inspiration from 80’s black sitcoms, Leo’s attempt at getting his first kiss spirals into a comical clash of cultures of tech mishaps. But, he does end up getting the kiss … in a way.
