More than half of Danish girls are dissatisfied with what they see when they look in the mirror.

Crash diets, body shaming, and dizziness from constantly sucking in their stomachs have become the norm. We are chasing the idea of the perfect body, and in the process, we are increasingly doubting what we were born with.

“With Love, Your Body” is a tribute to imperfection, to what makes us who we are, and a reminder to take good care of our bodies. It’s a message we hope you will help spread here on social media, which has been dominated for far too long by unrealistic body ideals.

Pernille states:

“The casting process turned out more challenging than we first anticipated, because only a few models felt comfortable revealing preserved imperfections on their bodies. This reinforced the message of the film and made us realize just how important it was to make.
