Jonas Risvig is one of Denmark’s boldest new voices in film and television. He first drew attention during the pandemic with Centrum, a no-budget youth series created in direct dialogue with its audience. Since then, he has pushed boundaries with GRÆNSER, DRENGE (Viaplay) and SALSA (DR).
His feature debut KONTRA became a Danish box-office hit, cementing Risvig’s reputation for raw, authentic storytelling that fearlessly explores youth, identity, and the edges of modern culture. He is currently working on his second feature film.
In his commercial work, Jonas Risvig has crafted emotionally powerful and humor-filled memorable campaigns for clients like the Danish Health Society, the Danish Cancer Society, and the Danish Agency for Digital Government.
