Award-winning director, creative director, and writer Jeppe Kolstrup – born in Disko Bay, Greenland, and raised in northern Denmark – combines emotion, poetry, and humor in films and campaigns for brands including B&O, Carlsberg, Kræftens Bekæmpelse, The Royal Danish Ballet, Royal Beer, Peugeot, Citroën, Google, and international agencies such as Åkestam Holst and 72andSunny.
At twelve, he made his “debut” with the homemade horror film The Axe-Man – starring his two younger brothers and featuring a record-breaking use of ketchup as fake blood.
After a brief detour to the Danish School of Media and Journalism, the mystery and magic of filmmaking pulled him back in for good.
Jeppe Kolstrup wrote and directed The Boy Who Hacked the Pentagon (DR, 2022), a gripping docu-drama about a 17-year-old hacker who dives too deep into the digital underworld. Currently he is developing a new TV series exploring the raw, funny, and emotional sides of fatherhood.
Balancing artistry and purpose, Jeppe Kolstrup continues to shape modern storytelling through his distinctive voice – one defined by empathy, visual elegance, and an unshakable curiosity.
